Horse friendly western saddle made of robust, open pore cow hide, especially pliable to mould around your horse’s back and very comfortable for the rider. Dirt repellant surface treatment, leather trim. Light colored, thick fleece underside, 6 D-rings, conchas and leather strings to attach your travel/riding needs to. Square skirts will provide more stability on big framed, wide and round horses with flat withers. The English billet system provides improved lateral stability for thick bellied horses with a forward girth groove. Matching fenders and stirrups available separately. The fiberglass fork (size wide) can be changed as with all Barefoot saddles.

Barefoot Special Treeless Saddle Pad for the Nevada Saddle |
Saddlepad Information:
Barefoot Special Saddle pad
Specially designed for the Barefoot saddles. The 'Special saddlepads’ are cut to the shape of our saddles. They are contoured to accomodate the horse’s withers and have a split over the wither area to avoid rubbing and compression. Anatomically formed, removable inserts generate good spinal clearance and guarantee ideal pressure absorption and distribution. Even more comfort and cushioning is achieved by the pure wool underside which provides temperature regulation and moisture absorption. There is no fleece lining right over the spine to provide additional clearance for the spine and spinous processes. All saddle pads have Poly cotton padding inside and the top layer is made of tough and durable quilted cotton. All pads come with velcro straps to attach to the saddles’ d-rings.
Pads can be machine washed at 30 degrees (delicate cycle) with wool detergent

Barefoot Physio Treeless Saddle Pad System for the Nevada Saddle |
Saddlepad Information:
Developed for the demands during long rides and for heavier riders or horses with protruding spinous processes. All physio pads are shaped to accomodate the horse’s spine and offer ideal pressure absorption and distribution.
This system offers addtional clearance and lift over the spinous processes of the thoracic vertebrae and consists of 2 components which are pressure absorbing and are connected securely with velcro.
a) Lower part: anatomically cut made of quilted cotton, thinned under the upper thigh for a close leg contact, pressure absorbing foam inserts can be removed through an easy velcro opening. 2/3 gripping sympanova underside will stabilize the saddle even on very round horses – the rear 1/3 is fleece underside to protect this sensitive area. The fleece glides over the horses coat and therefore eliminates potential rubbing under the cantle.
b) top layer: Quilted cotton upper fabric with felt underside, poly fleece inside and foam layer on top (will keep the saddle in place and supplies additional pressure absorption). Velcro straps attach to the saddles D-rings. Machine washable at 30 degrees. 1 pair of 15 mm foam inserts are included with this saddle pad.

Barefoot Wide Western Fenders |
Fender Information:
Made of smooth durable leather and extra hard wearing. The buckles on these fenders are on the bottom to avoid bulk under the inner thighs. These fenders will fit our models Arizona and Nevada. All our western stirrups will fit these fenders.

These are safety stirrups for all western riders. Will prevent your foot from slipping through the stirrup – adds warmth during winter. The integrated stirrup is made of fiberglass, the cover is made of real leather, matching to all Barefoot fenders. Decorative leather conchas and leather strings.
