About Dr Gerd Heuschmann
He is a vet, a rider and above all a true horse lover. He is the man who currently pours all his energy into educating riders to develop an awareness of what is really needed to make their sport more horse friendly. He is not afraid to speak up for his cause and if need be to lend the horses his voice. His book "Tug of War - Classical Versus "Modern" Dressage" - was published by Wu Wei Verlag, Schondorf. First released at the end of 2006 - exactly one year later the revised second edition is published including an open letter to the FEI, the FN and the German horse riding authorities. Over 25,000 copies have been sold to date making it one of the most successful horse books in recent years and it has so far been translated into 9 languages. It explains impressively and clearly what riders have to know so that their horses stay healthy.
About Mark Rashid
Mark Rashid has committed himself since youth to finding quiet but effective ways to work with horses. As seen in his books, Mark conveys his lessons in a practical, concrete manner - but with feel and understanding for the horse.
Working in America, Europe, the UK, and Australia with a multitude of breeds and riding disciplines, he focuses on what is happening on both sides of the horse/human relationship and how the rider can clearly communicate while building trust. His work is useful to all disciplines.
About Chris Irwin
Chris Irwin is much more than just a horse trainer. His unique path in life of turning tragedies into triumphs has led him to become a truly gifted communicator. Now, as a cutting-edge personal coach, Chris inspires and facilitates his students to learn how to harness their inner horsepower through ongoing workshops in Equine Assisted Personal Development. From corporate leadership workshops to parenting and teaching skills, mentoring for disadvantaged youth, therapeutic programs and even the prison system, the scope and impact of Chris' message on how "horse sense can benefit human potential" is reaching far beyond the borders of the horse industry. As the San Diego Union-Tribune wrote, "Forget Robert Redford and The Horse Whisperer. With Chris Irwin, think Dr. Phil for horses. Better yet, think Dr. Phil for horse owners and riders." Or as the Toronto Star wrote, "Chris Irwin is a man on a mission — to change the way we communicate with each other, one horse at a time." Please click here to go to Chris Irwin's website.
About Anja Beran
Anja Beran learnt the art of classical equitation in the stables of Manuel Jorge de Oliveira, a pupil of the well known Nuno Oliveira. She is now training horses of different breeds, from the age of three upto high school exercises. Classical equitation has been existing for centuries and as per Anja Beran's opinion, is the origin of all equestrian knowledge and this, and ONLY this, is the basis of excellence in ALL disciplines.
