23rd November 2010 This year TWS will be closed for Christmas from 20th December until 10th January 2011. Web orders will continue to be dispatched during this time.

27th June 2010 TWS just took delivery of the Horse and Donkey Worms and Worming Book by Dr A. Nyland This is a book well worth reading and was recommended by a top American Equine vet who is also a nutritionist. It explains all about the worms, how worming regimens have needed to change over the years and what worming programme you need to adopt for your horses health. This really is a great book which every horse owner should have. See it here.

26th June 2010 Finally, here is the page for the Freemax saddles.

19th April 2010 TWS will be going on the road this year to a number of shows, Saddles, pads, cinches, a few headstalls, and some DVD's will be on board. If you are local to any of the shows it is a good way to get your saddles checked without extra travelling fees! The Port Lewis Impression Pad will be available for hire during the shows for £15 per saddle. Do come and say hello. The dates and shows are:

16th April 2010 We are now stocking Professionals Choice pads, cinches, boots, etc. If it is not in stock it will be available to order and should be here within the week. As usual we are happy to offer a price match. Also, just taken delivery of a bunch of Cowboy Dressage DVD's. The pages will be uploaded soon.

6th February 2010 After a long time with no update (thanks to computer issues!) we have a brand new treeless saddle in stock. It is called the Freemax by Acavello. The Freemax is a brand new treeless western saddle and it looks, and rides, like a treed saddle. Please click here for more information. We also have Anja Beran's new DVD's in stock. Please clickhere for those. Lastly, we are in the process of changing the pads, cinches, headstalls, reins and leatherwear stocked. Do keep an eye on the site for the changes.

3rd July 2009 A whole heap of Nancy Cahill DVD's are here. She is an American trainer who has done a series of DVD's made for people who have not got access to a trainer, as well as those that do. These are considered to be very good quality educational DVD's.

20th June 2009 The newly designed ported Rockin "S" snaffle is now here.

19th June 2009 New in stock are very good quality traditional and baroque bitless bridles and matching cordeos. The nosebands are padded and they do not cross over. Please see here for more on those.

18th June 2009 If customers would like to bring their horses to me for a consultation (I am based on the edge of the New Forest on the Hampshire/Dorset border), I can hire both indoor and outdoor schools for a very reasonable rate.

20th January 2009 New DVD's have just come in by Dr Gerd Heuschmann. Dr Heuschmann is a German vet, rider and horse lover who is dedicated to educating riders to develop an awareness of what is really needed to make their sport more horse friendly. 18th September 2008 Some new items have arrived. I am pleased to be stocking DVD's by Chris Irwin he is an American trainer who is becoming very popular. See his website and more about him here. 24th July 2008 A baby girl was born on 14th July. Mum and baby are doing well. So if anyone wondered why they have not had a reply to their email - that is the reason. All orders are to be dispatched this week and Maria will be returning to office-based work on 28th July. Thank you for all the good wishes received.

10th May 2008 As of 1st June I will no longer be travelling out to consultations for a few months. Although, if customers can bring their horses to me (Ringwood, Hampshire) I will be able to continue doing saddle consultations. I am pregnant and due in July. I will take maternity leave but the online store will still be operating as normal and if you have any questions, would like a consultation in the future or need help please do contact me. I will get back to you. Thank you to all my customers who have made this job such a lovely one!

4th May 2008 Barefoot have released a new treeless western saddle. The saddles are called the Missoula Nut and Virginia Rose. They are the first traditional looking treeless western saddles on the UK market. Please see here for more details.

11th April 2008 Just received a delivery of Mattes Equestrian sheepskin western pads, sheepskin cinches and treeless sheepskin saddlepads. An update will be available on the site soon.

11th April 2008 Prices unfortunately will be going up on 1st May 2008. This is due to the strong euro and the wholesaler raising their prices. Any orders placed and paid for on or before 30th April will benefit from the original prices. A price match is offered on any new Continental Pullman item able to be purchased in the UK. Anja is not a western rider. She is a classical rider who rides in an exceptionally kind, considerate and knowledgeable way. She has worked with Gerhard Heuschmann to design a training programme which gymnastically builds the horse without forcing it with side reins, tight nosebands or harsh bits.
